The WEDDING CAKE itself and the cake cutting ceremony are one of the highlights of the wedding reception. Guests will admire the artistic beauty of this edible masterpiece; as well as confirm that it tastes as good as it looks.

Each cake will be custom designed to suit your wedding colors, flowers and wedding theme. The cake galleries are available to help inspire ideas for your unique weddng cake.
 
Wedding Cakes  

Are very much dependent upon the design elements you choose for your cake. The size and complexity of the wedding cake design will dictate the cost of your cake.

Simple Cake Prices start at $7.00 / per slice

Classic Cake Prices start at $8.00 / per slice

Elegant Cake Prices start at $9.00 / per slice

Whimsical Cake Prices start at $10.00 (and up) /per slice

 

These prices do not include the price of the fresh flowers.  Flowers should be provided by your florist and I will place them on the cake upon delivery to the reception site.
    
Delivery in the Vancouver area and set up is complimentary with a minimum purchase of $500.  Otherwise, the fee is $25-$75, depending on the location.

A personal consultation is the first step in designing the wedding cake as well as determining the price
of the cake. The perfect wedding cake should not only match your flowers, setting and color schemes,
but should also reflect your style and personality.

first anniversary, or keep as a late night snack!

"Do couples still save the top tier of their wedding cake and freeze it until the first anniversary?! How will it taste after one year??"  

I tell all my clients to save at least a piece of the wedding cake to take home b/c it is an ACTUAL piece of your special day that will serve as a reminder of everything that happened but without all the whirlwind of events and people around you. Whether your eat your leftover wedding cake the next day, when you return from your honeymoon, or on your first anniversary, you will be able to share the fond memories of your wedding day.

After one year in your freezer, your wedding cake will still taste really yummy, especially if you ordered a chocolate cake.  The outer layer of fondant, which you don't have to eat, will protect the cake.  One of my clients can testify that part of their wedding cake was saved until the christening of their firstborn child, which happened TWO years after the wedding.  The same chocolate cake was served to 30 guests and they still raved about how good it was!  

"How do I package my wedding cake before freezing it?" 

The best way to preserve the cake is to wrap it tightly with several layers of plastic wrap followed by a couple layers of foil and finally, seal it in a freezer bag. As your first anniversary approaches, let the cake thaw in the refridgerator overnight and then serve it at room temperature.
