ANNOUNCING...
Hello "Hello Bella" friends,
April Cakes is pleased to announce her bake sale at the Hello Bella event on Friday March 12 at Mika Makeup Studio, 248 East 10th Avenue from 5:30-10:30pm. Aprilcakes will be selling a limited number of Petite carrot cakes, chocolate fudge cakes and introducing the Red Velvet cake, all customed designed for our spring collection. These cakes will be $20 each (retail is $25). Also available will be Granola Girl Granola, decadent brownies, vanilla cupcakes, and a few more surprises! Other lovely items in our shopping area will include chocolates, handmade clutches, art for little eyes, pretty stationery and cards, t-shirts, gorgeous jewelry and makeup! It's an even greater shopping experience thanks to the velvety sounds provided by DJ Leanne. Thank you also to SKOAH who is giving free facial gift certificates in your little goodie bags to the first 25 guests through the door.
The Pamper party will include $10 services for mani's, makeup applications, bang trims, hand or shoulder massages and eyelash extensions or false eyelash applications. After your mini makeover, do a personal or group photoshoot in the photobooth provided by Photobooth Vancouver - fun stuff!

Oh yeah...regarding parking, the best place is in the big lot next to the temple behind the building , accessible from the alley between 10th and 11th. You can also park on Main St, Kingsway, Buy Low Foods at Kingsgate Mall or the new Mt. Pleasant Community Center at 1 Kingsway -lotsa options. Hope to see you on March 12!

 Cake Decorating Classes
Are available from beginner levels to wedding cake decorating and fondant classes. Receive individualized instruction and gain hands-on experience. April will help you turn your love of baking and cake decor into a potential career! In partnership with Picture Perfect Cakes, we are pleased to be offering a great selection of classes including gumpaste flowers (roses, peonies, spring flowers, etc.)and figurines, to cupcake workshops. Sign up individually or organise your own group for a private class.
Special Classes will also be held for specific holidays such as Valentine's Day and Easter. Bring your baked cake to class and we will decorate it with fondant and handmade sugar appliques. Impress your family and friends with your new cake decorating skills. All levels are welcome and it is a great opportunity to mingle with other cake enthusiasts! Classes will be held in the Vancouver or North Vancouver area.
